PERINOLA HG SS2012 LOOKBOOK

As I promised, here’s the final result of the Perinola HG SS2012 lookbook. When I did the makeup I was asked to do it simple, as simple as I could but making the model look beautiful and fresh. I thought about the location and the idea behind the lookbook and the video and I had the idea of this girl that spends a lot of time in the sun and roaming and playing in the park and the hallways of this house. I immediately thought of doing a bronzed look but with a very glowing complexion. I had to give some strength to the face and so I made her eyes look bigger and defined her eyebrows but kept it very natural. The final touch was the lips, which I wanted to look very fresh and juicy, but I changed the color several times throughout the shoot for each outfit.

For the styling of the clothes the idea was follow this collections initial inspiration, the music and tones of Simón Diaz combined with the brand’s eclecticism. We paired the pieces with feather and snake skin necklaces, gold touches and a gorgeous hat to keep the vibe. I hope you like it!

Como lo prometí, aquí tienen el resultado final del lookbookPV2012 de Perinola HG. Cuando hice el maquillaje me pidieron que lo hiciera simple, tan simple como pudiera manteniendo a la modelo viéndose bella y fresca. Pensé en la locación y en la idea detrás del lookbook y el video y tuve la idea de esta chica que se pasa mucho tiempo bajo el sol y paseando y jugando por los pasillos de esta casa. Inmediatamente pensé en un look bronceado pero con la piel radiante. Tenía que darle algo de fuerza a la cara así que hice parecer sus ojos más grandes y definí sus cejas pero lo mantuve muy natural. El toque final fueron los labios, los cuales quería que se vieran muy frescos y jugosos, pero cambié el color varias veces entre las tomas para cada atuendo.

Para el estilismo de la ropa la idea era seguir la inspiración inicial de la colección, la música y los tonos de Simón Diaz combinado con el eclecticismo de la marca. Combinamos las piezas con collares de plumas y de piel de serpiente, toques dorados y un bello sombrero para mantener la vibra. ¡Espero que les guste!
